And the Plot Thickens…
Managing Negotiations and Resolving Conflicts Far Outside the Box
Our perceptions, country of birth and home we were raised in are essentially the story of our lives. Any such story has a start, a plot and characters – some may be rich or poor, swindlers or suckers, heroes or villains. The main plot is made up of innumerable subplots, twists and turns, not to mention conflicts. Without conflicts, there is no story, and each conflict entails a struggle – the market forces that try to beat us down, the race against time, business owners who fight customer trying to exploit them, figures who are tortured by their conscience, and more.
When we heighten awareness and connect to ourselves, we understand that we are not only characters in our own story, but we are also the narrator. We have the power to add a twist to the story and control how our story will develop and the result we want to achieve.
We will focus on the following points:
- What are thought patterns, how do they hold us back and prevent us from finding solutions to tough problems?
- How do we create synergy in interpersonal communication and how can we turn it into an effective tool for problem solving and negotiating in our personal and professional lives.
